Round 1, Tommy is first! Chapter 8.

I do not own Robotboy.
I do not own Pokémon.
I do own Perry, Oliver, Melanie and Krystal.

Plot:
It’s time for the Pokémon Championship to start. Tommy, Lola, Perry, Krystal, Oliver, Melanie, and unexpectedly, Gus, were booking for the championship.
Gus: Once I win this championship, I’ll be the first Pokémon Champion!
Tommy: Oh, we’ll see about that!
Krystal: Or Hexx will have to turn you into a mushroom!
Perry: If you were a mushroom, you’d be a Fun Gus!
Tommy, Lola, Krystal, Oliver and Melanie: Perry!

Meanwhile, all the villains we know and love or hate were booking for the championship.
Kamikazi: Alright! I’m going make myself clear! Me, and only me! I’m the only one who can be champion! Besides, I’ll have Robotboy in my hands!
Klaus: Nein, Kamikazi. I vill have Robotboy. I’ll use his parts to make myself stronger!
Felonious: Ever since that heckler’s been revived, it’s given me more reasons to want to win this championship.
Suzie: Let me vin this championship. Then I vill marry Kamikazi!
And all the villains laughed.

Now, it’s time for the first battle.
Announcer: Welcome to this year’s Pokémon Championship! Who will become this year’s Pokémon Champion? In this first round, it’s Thomas Turnbull of the Bay Area!
Tommy: I aim to win! You’ll see!
Announcer: Versus Otomo Kamikazi Two!
Tommy: Kamikazi!
Kamikazi: Yes, Tommy! I am your first challenger! Remember, if I win, Robotboy is mine!
Tommy: Alright then. It’s a deal.
Krystal: I hope Tommy wins.
Perry: Did he just say he’ll capture Robotboy?!
Lola is in the crowd as a cheerleader.
Lola: Tommy, Tommy, you’re my man! If you can’t do it, no one can!

Announcer: 3, 2, 1….
Ding!
Tommy: (throws first Pokéball) Gyarados, activate!
Tommy’s Gyarados came out of his Pokéball and roared like Chomper’s parents.
Kamikazi: Ah, that Gyarados is no match for my (throws Pokéball) Emboar, do it for me!
Emboar: Emboar!
Perry: Ha! Tommy will score an easy win!
Melanie: How do you mean?
Krystal: According to my research, Emboar is a Fire- and Fighting-type, and Gyarados is a Water- and Flying-type, making this an easy win for Tommy.

Kamikazi: Emboar, Flame Charge!
Emboar: Emboar!
Emboar encased himself with fire, and he charged at Gyarados, but that didn’t do very much.
Tommy: Gyarados, Hydro Pump!
Gyarados roared, and then, he opened his mouth, letting out a massive gush of water onto Emboar, defeating him in the process.
Kamikazi: No! How could he defeat me?!
Referee: Emboar is unable to battle, the winner is Gyarados!

Tommy: Very well done, Gyarados!
Kamikazi: (Retreating his Emboar) Not bad for a start, Tommy. But you’re no match for my robot clones! ATTACK!!!!
This called for Kamikazi’s many weird monsters to come into the battlefield, and they all ganged up on Gyarados.
Tommy: Aaahh!
Perry: What?! What does Kamikazi think he’s doing?!
Krystal: Don’t you need Pokémon to fight?!
Oliver: He’s doing this just so he can go onto Round 2.
Melanie: That’s cheating! Just like how that silhouette Father cheated with his own fire!

After these robot clones ganged up on Gyarados, defeating him in the process, the scoreboard showed Doctor Kamikazi’s face getting covered with a big black X, taking him out of the competition.
Referee: Otomo Kamikazi II has been disqualified! Tommy Turnbull is the winner by default!
Kamikazi: Take me out of the championship, will you!? Oh, that’s it! Robot clones, attack!
Tommy: Not so fast, Kamikazi! (throws Pokéball) Aerodactyl, activate!
Aerodactyl: Aerodactyl!
Kamikazi: Get that pterodactyl, clones!
Tommy: Aerodactyl, Hyper Beam!
Aerodactyl: Aero!
Aerodactyl opened his mouth, a yellow-orange orb formed, and he fired a powerful orange beam with yellow particles at the clones, and at Doctor Kamikazi, sending them all blasting off.

Later, in the waiting room, all 6 friends were talking to each other.
Perry: Who would’ve expected that Doctor Kamikazi would cheat?!
Krystal: Well, he does have his robot clones.
Oliver: But that gave him no excuse to cheat!
Lola: Well, my battle is next, so you’d all better be in your seats soon.
Tommy: Sure thing, Lola. Let’s hope your opponent won’t cheat.
Krystal: and if they do, the referee should disqualify them.

Now, the next battle was ready.

Announcer: Sorry that the first battle had to be cut short. So, this 2nd battle has to start early. This time, it’s Lola Mbola!
Lola: Oh, thanks! I’m going to be the champion!
Announcer: Versus the ever so spoilt Bambi Williams!
Lola: Bambi?!
Perry: Bambi?!?  
Tommy: (dreamily) B-b-Bambi.
Bambi: That’s right, Lola! I’m your opponent today! Remember! Whoever wins will get to keep Tommy Turnbull! That Kurt is a loser anyway.
Little did Bambi realise that Kurt was spectating with his bully friends, Mookie and Stu.
Kurt: What did she just call me?!
Stu: Kurt! Wait until the battle’s over!
Lola: We’ll see about that!

Ding!

Lola: (throws Pokéball) Chikorita, let’s do this!
Chikorita: Chiko!
That’s right. Lola received a Chikorita.
Bambi: That wimpy sauropod?!
Lola: She’s not wimpy! She’s cute!
Bambi: Hmph! (throws Pokéball) Durant, go!
Durant: Dur!
Perry: That freaky Durant again? How is Lola going to win this?
Krystal: According to my research, Durant is a Bug- and Steel-type, which means…
Perry: Chikorita will be eaten up!
Tommy: (dreamily) Bambi should win this.
This got Perry angry.
Perry: You’re supposed to be rooting for Lola, not Bambi!

Lola: Chikorita, Tackle!
Chikorita: Chikorita!
Chikorita charged toward Durant and tackled him. But this wasn’t a favourable matchup.
Bambi: Durant, Bug Bite!
Durant: Durant!
Durant crawled up to Chikorita, opened his jaws, and he bit Chikorita with force.
Lola: (takes out Pokéball) Chikorita, return! Now I get it! I need to use another Pokémon. Hmm…I’ve got it! (throws another Pokéball) Geodude, let’s do this!
That’s right! Lola has an Alolan Geodude.
Geodude: Geodude!
Bambi: This is just too easy! Especially since my pretty Durant is a Steel-type and Geodude’s a Rock-type. Durant, Iron Head!
Durant got even more metallic, and he charged at Geodude.
Lola: Geodude, Flamethrower!
Geodude: Geo!
Geodude opened his mouth and let loose a stream of fire at Durant, easily defeating him.
Bambi: Durant! See if you can get up!
Durant tried to get up, but he could because his eyes were spirals.
Referee: Durant is unable to battle! The winner is Geodude!

Lola: You did great, Geodude!
Geodude: Geodude!
Bambi: You’ve asked for it, Lola! (throws next Pokéball) Tentacool, go!
Tentacool: Tentacool!

Perry: This doesn’t look very good for Lola!
Melanie: Why?
Perry: Geodude’s a Rock- and Ground-type, meaning that Geodude will be eroded!
Krystal: Wait, Perrykins! According to my research, this Geodude was caught in Hawaii, and he’s a Rock- and Electric-type, so Lola just might win this!
Perry: You know what? You’re right!

Bambi: Tentacool, Water Pulse!
Tentacool: Tentacool!
Tentacool fired 5 rings of water at Geodude.
Lola: Geodude, jump out of the way!
That’s what Geodude did.
Bambi: Come on, Tentacool! Acid!
Tentacool: Tentacool!
Tentacool fired from his middle crystal dull lime acid at Geodude, only doing a little damage.
Lola: Geodude, let’s go for another approach! Thunder Punch!
Geodude: Geodude!
Geodude’s right arm got covered in electricity, he flew over to Tentacool, and punched him with all his might! This paralysed Tentacool.
Bambi: Tentacool! Come on!
Lola: Now, Geodude! Rock Throw!
Geodude revealed some small rocks, he picked them up, and he threw them at Tentacool, defeating him in the process.
Referee: Tentacool is unable to battle, the winner is Geodude!
Lola: Very well done, Geodude!
Geodude: Geodude!

Just as he said this, Geodude started to turn white.
Lola: Huh?!
Perry: What?!
Oliver: Geodude’s….
Melanie: Evolving!
Geodude started to grow bigger. As the white had vanished, Geodude is now looking more jagged, much rounder, has two extra arms and has grown legs.
Lola: My Geodude’s a Graveler!

Tommy was very upset at all this.
Tommy: No! Bambi’s losing! I can’t bear to watch anymore.
This got Perry all mad.
Perry: YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE ROOTING FOR LOLA, NOT BAMBI!!!!

Bambi: You’re really asked for it, Lola! (takes out next Pokéball) Steenee, go!
Out came Bambi’s Steenee.
Steenee: Steen!
Lola: Steenee, huh? Alright then, Bambi! You’ve asked for it! Graveler, Thunder Punch!
Graveler ran up to Steenee and punched her with his right fist of electricity. It didn’t do much.
Bambi: Steenee, Magical Leaf!
Steenee: Steenie!
Steenee shook her calyx and let out many glowing leaves toward Graveler, and they damaged him greatly.
Bambi: Now, Steenee, Double Slap!
Steenee ran up to Graveler to slap him with her calyx when….
Lola: Graveler, Self-Destruct!
Graveler: Graveler!
Graveler turned white, and he exploded, and the shockwave shot all over the battlefield, hitting Steenee, taking her with him, and as the smoke had cleared, both Graveler and Steenee had been defeated.
Referee: Both Graveler and Steenee are unable to battle! Since Lola has only 2 Pokémon left, Lola is the winner!

Lola: Yes! Yes! I’m in Round 2! In your face, Bambi!
Tommy started to cry, knowing that Bambi had lost.
Tommy: No! Bambi lost! Bambi lost!
Perry slapped Tommy in the face.
Bambi: You may have beaten me, Lola, but we’ll meet again! I bid you farewell.

Later, Bambi was in the waiting room when Kurt, Mookie and Stu arrived, looking as devious as ever.
Bambi: Ah, my boyfriend, Kurt.
Kurt: Boyfriend? You said I’m a loser.
Stu: That’s what I heard. Mookie?
Both bullies ganged around Bambi.
Bambi: No! Let me explain! You don’t understand! I didn’t mean it!
But Kurt and his friends weren’t listening. They beat Bambi to a pulp.

Meanwhile, Lola was sitting in the waiting room with all her 6 friends.
Tommy: That was a very well-played match you had, Lola.
Lola: Thanks, Tommy. And the battle was even fairer than your battle with Kamikazi.
Tommy: Don’t remind me.
Perry: You were brilliant, Lola.
Krystal: And you showed that dumb blonde just how to battle fair.
Melanie: Er, Krystal. You’re blonde too.
Krystal: Yes, but not all blondes are dumb. I was just referring to Bambi.

And so, our first 2 battles are overwith. Tommy automatically won against Doctor Kamikazi’s cheating, and Lola won in a fair battle against Bambi. Who’s next to battle? Stay tuned.
