Description

This is my Top 13 favourite Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi episode list. Now that I'm finished reviewing this show, I can count down this list.

13. Kaz Versus Katz. A hilarious rehash of Tom and Jerry! Especially the part where Kaz was sent to Phil's country, Antarctica.

12. Truth or Dare. An out of control game of Truth or Dare ensues! Especially when Yumi eats Domo's food! And when Ami screams trying to steal Kaz's stuffed bunny. I'm not playing this kind of truth or dare game! Too dangerous!

11. Spaced Out. Hilarious delicious aliens look at the band's minds and see what they're thinking of. I love the part at the end where Kaz reveals the portable game he's playing is Die Alien Scum! Very hilarious when the bananas cut up Ami, causing her to scream!

10. Big Waldo. This was a funny rehash of the Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons! It sure was hilarious of the alligators to destroy Kaz's house in the swamp. Does anyone out there in the USA remember the last time this aired on Cartoon Network? If you don't, don't feel bad. It never aired on Cartoon Network! Thanks a lot, whoever changed Cartoon Network's management!

9. Dupli-Cats. These cats sure knew how to clone themselves! We even got to see Domo get cloned! I especially love the part where the girls acted like ghosts to scare Kaz!

8. Helping Hand. This episode shows how much of a hassle it can be to help those who are temporarily or permanently disabled somehow. I especially love the parts where Ami yells at Yumi after seeing her use her hands. "How long have you been able to use your hands?" "Hands? What hands?" "YUMI!"

7. Number, Please. This episode shows Ami going cuckoo when Kaz takes away her mobile phone! Also, I love the answer to that question being "Ouch!" Good thing Ami got a replacement phone at the end to replace her broken one. Anymore fun facts about this episode? Yep, another episode that Cartoon Network USA never aired. I was lucky enough to see this and all the other unaired episodes in my country.

6. The Amazing Kaz-am. This episode shows what a reprehensible magician Kaz is! Especially when he rises himself to a ceiling fan and when he gets squished by the wheel Ami is on!  I need to say, Ami and Yumi sure look nice in those magician assistant outfits, even if Yumi loathed it. And before anyone accuses me of being a pervert, I know these girls aren't supposed to be hot!

5. Koi Fish. This hilarious episode shows how surreal the show can get what with Fish Face knowing everything! I especially love his voice! "It is decidedly so!" "Not on your life!"

4. Cat Feud. This episode shows how fed up with the cats Kaz is! He even went as far as trying to get rid of them! It sure was hilarious when Kaz burst out laughing when the girls scolded their cats. I know, there are people out there who didn't like this episode, but I seem to be the only one who did.

3. Collect All Five. This is only the 2nd episode of the series, but it was just so darn hilarious! Ami trying to find Bunny Huggles when she realises it's the only Huggle Buddy she doesn't have. She even went as far as dressing Kaz as one! Plus, Ami was acting like Ren when she was dressing Kaz as Bunny.

2. Were-Kaz. This werewolf parody was hilarious, what with Kaz ordering "Bald-B-Gone" to grow his hair back! I especially love the part where the cats become monsters! This episode also shows that you should never try miracle cures.

1. Ami Ami. This episode shows how annoying Ami can get, only for Yumi to end up thinking of herself as Ami! That was just too hilarious! I especially love the part where Ami dresses herself as Kaz! Yumi sure was insane, licking the cats who were frozen.

Honourable mentions:

Julie AmiYumi. This is the episode where we are introduced to Julie. I have to say, she's a nutsy-cuckoo girl. Must be because of her keyboard guitar. Anymore fun facts about this episode? Yep, another episode that Cartoon Network never aired. Plus, over the ending, Julie plots her revenge. "Soon, revenge will be mine! Oh, sorry? What's that? Oh, sorry, Keyboard Guitar. Revenge will be ours! (Laughs like a witch) You will never guess what evil scheme Julie had planned for her revenge! And neither will I because Cartoon Network cancelled this show, even though they greenlit Season 4, which never saw the light of day!

Small Stuff. This is a hilarious parody of Cat and mouse games, where the girls shrink in their dryer and have to find a way to get back to normal size. There's Kaz's Godzilla-like roar, and when Jang Keng is hurt, he/she yells like Tom from Tom and Jerry. Does anyone from America remember the last time this aired on Cartoon Network? No? If you don't, do you feel bad about it? Yes? Then don't! It never aired on Cartoon Network! Because Cartoon Network never aired the last 5 episodes!

Secret Origin. The premiere to Season 3. It sure was a brilliant flashback episode! We get to see Atchan out of his superhero outfit. Here, he looks like Mac from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. There's the ironic quote from Rumaki: "You can't do that! Kidnapping is wrong!" And as for the girls, AWWWWWWW!!!!! They look just like anatomically correct Powerpuff Girls. With correct feet, hands, and noses.

Janice Jealous. This is the second episode to star Chad, the Stu-Pi-Doh nerd, with his good looking girlfriend, Janice. This is one episode where you can't help but feel sorry for Janice when you see her crying. Plus, one fun fact about Janice is she's voiced by her namesake.

Driving School. This is one episode that sure was funny from the start to the end. We got to see Kaz and Yumi racing each other, even though it wasn't a race. This episode even has an homage to The Beatles: Bigger Than Jesus album cover. Not to mention this episode is based on quite possibly Aesop's best known fable, The Tortoise and the Hare. It has the same moral. Slow and steady wins the race, having Ami as a tortoise, and Yumi and Kaz as hares.

Record Breakers. This sure was one hilarious ep! An episode that shows Ami and Yumi did deserve a record breaking reward after all! For the most failed attempts at a world record of any rock duo. Unexpected, but clever.

Fan Clubs. This is an episode where we find out that Ami and Yumi have their own fan clubs. They even do their best to hide everything they get in the mail in Kaz's room. What I love best about this one is the last scene with Harmony's return and chasing after Kaz. It even has a moral. Some things are too good to keep secret.

Robo-Pop. This episode further proves what a cheapskate Kaz is when it comes to earning money. Those perfect replicas of Ami and Yumi. It sure was funny of Kaz to have robots that perfectly replicate himself! Not to mention the screaming Ami and Yumi did at the end!

Surf's Up. This episode was most certainly epic in its own way! A talking tidal wave? A talking parrot? This sure was weird in its own way! And for those of you who live in the states, remember when this episode last aired on Cartoon Network in the USA? No?! Why? Oh, that's right! It never aired on Cartoon Network in the states! Because of the tsunami that occurred in the Indian Ocean the week it was supposed to air!
